"THE WORLD IS GOING TO END!!!"
X_X! On that day, which is 2 days ago, people were hugging, crying and saying goodbye to each other in my school. Why? Because somehow, we have managed to get ourselves into the mix of the excitement & tragedy that will hit us. And then, at that minute, everyone went quiet..and I meant DEAD quiet. Before saying praises and hugging each other happily, knowing that we survived another day! ^_^ Anyone else have this type of thing? Or did you guys think the world is going to end due to the LHC test scientists are doing a, pardon me for my language, bullshit?! |

The Hadron Supercollider that was built in Switzerland. They activated it for several moments and then shut it down. Some folks were claiming it would destroy the earth while it was activated.
news.cnet.com/dont-panic-large-hadron-co...racious-black-holes/ To answer Bongka's earlier comment earlier, I wasn't worried about it. It would be successful or it wouldn't. I figured the scare talk about it destroying life as we know it to be BS. I'm not overly thrilled they spent all that money on building the device for one experiment, as there's probably better places that money could go, but they didn't ask my opinion <G> |

Jesus, man is going to kill itself.
anyway, i remember hearing some offhand comments about the experiment but i had more important things to worry about that day that i would just forget about it from time to time. |

Over here it was all over the news but nobody really cared. I think it is an interesting experiment but think of what that money could have been spent on.

I was freaking out a bit, and I heard it on the news, and became a household story, but I didn't hear much about it in school.
