Wolverine Weapon X #7

cover of Wolverine Weapon X #7

When we last saw Logan he was sitting in Dunnwich Sanatorium with the mysterious Dr. Rottwell overseeing his “treatment”. This issue finds us watching the good doctor trying to re-awaken Logan inner Berserker rage. Whoever he is he seems to have knowledge of who Wolverine is and his past. Is there anyway for Wolverine to escape this house of horrors? More importantly who does Logan have to kill to remember who he is?

X-Force #21

cover of X-Force #21

It seems that Selene has resurrected an army of undead mutants and is attempting to destroy the Utopia Scott Summers built. It also seems that it’s up to our friendly neighborhood X-Force, to kill them all before it gets out of hand. For classic X-fans this will bring back fond memories as many classic mutants such as Darkstar, Pyro and many more make a return from the dead in this issue. Selene wisely brought back characters to torment the X-Men who may have connections with the undead. Does Selene have a much darker wish to fulfill with her newly formed army of the dead?

Wolverine Weapon X #6

Wolverine Weapon X #6How would you like another great Wolverine book? That’s right I thought you might enjoy it, and I know I did. This series has come onto the scene very fast and I haven’t read an X-book that started off so well since X-force. This issue takes the ol’ kanucklehead into a place he’s never been. Wolverine has somehow ended up in a psych ward. Logan can remember a good deal about who he is, but he can remember the X-men and many of the important people in his life. Has Logan become completely irrational or is there something more sinister at work here? Will he ever escape this prison of the insane?

X-Force #20

cover of X-Force #20Alright boys and girls it’s time for the X-Men who do kill to finish their latest story arc - Not Forgotten. I have been a huge advocate for this series and recommend if you’re not already on this books bandwagon, to come along and sit next to me. The final chapter of the Not Forgotten Arc brings back one of X-23’s greatest villains from her notorious past. The confrontation with Kimura begins as Laura and Agent Morales must find a way out of the “Facility.” Can Wolverine and X-Force find her in time before her tormenters finish off X-23 for good?

Messiah Complex Review

Yes, X-Fans, it’s time for the most important story since M-day. Everyone knows that on that fateful day a few simple words doomed our beloved X-men and all mutant kind. Now the first mutant birth since M-day is upon us, but what does this mean? Messiah Complex is an exciting race between mutant factions vying for ownership of the first mutant born since M-Day.  A mutant child with a X-gene so powerful that she was immunte to the effects of the Scarlet Witch's erradication of the X-gene on Earth.

X-Men Origins Wolverine Game

After all of the buzz around this game as the best new movie game around, I can safely state that this game is the best there is at what it does, what it does isn’t very nice, but it certainly is a lot of fun. The game starts the player out as everyone’s favorite mutant as he lives out his days in the Weapon X program. Much as the movie does, you’ll find yourself playing through the Origins of Logan, starting from his memories with Victor Creed and the Adamantium bonding process. As you progress throughout the game you’ll be able to “upgrade” or customize the abilities Logan has at his disposal such as health, claw damage, etc.  You will feel like Wolverine and many aspects of the game culminate in this perfectly deadly exhilaration.
